The short version: we collect only what you type into the contact form, we use it only to answer you, we sell nothing to anyone, and the only measurement on this website is a single Google Analytics tag that counts visits in aggregate.
What we collect
When you send the contact form we receive the details you typed: name, email address, and whatever you wrote about your plans. The form is delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit, which processes the submission solely to forward it to us.
We do not ask for, and you should not send, payment details through the form. Booking payments are arranged separately and confirmed in writing.
What we do with it
We reply to you. Your enquiry stays in our mailbox so we can pick the conversation up when you return; we do not add you to newsletters, and we do not share or sell your details to third parties.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (one measurement tag, no tag manager and no advertising features) to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses, and we use it only in aggregate — we never try to identify an individual visitor. It sets first-party cookies to tell one visit from the next; if you would rather it did not, the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or your browser’s cookie settings switch it off, and the site works exactly the same without it.
Two optional third-party features load only if you use them: the website translator (Google Translate), which runs when you pick a language from the flags in the header, and the embedded map on the contact page (Google Maps). Both are Google services and may set their own cookies at that point — until you use them, they load nothing.
Your rights
Under Türkiye’s KVKK and, where it applies, the EU’s GDPR, you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to info@theephesus.com and we will handle it within 30 days.
