Plain-language terms for using this website and booking tours through it. The short version: we are a licensed Turkish travel agency, we quote clearly, and nothing is charged to hold an enquiry.
1. Who you are dealing with
theephesus.com is operated by GEZGİNOL TURİZM VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ ("Gezginol", "we"), a travel agency registered with the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) under registry number 15746, with its office at İki Çeşmelik Mah. Kirazlı Yolu Cad. İnci Apt. No:13 İç Kapı No:18, Kuşadası / Aydın, Türkiye.
2. Enquiries and bookings
Submitting the contact form or emailing us is an enquiry, not a contract. A booking exists once we confirm your date, itinerary and price in writing and you accept in writing. No payment is taken to make an enquiry.
3. Prices
"From" prices on this site are indicative starting prices per person for our smallest group size, and are confirmed or adjusted in your written quote. Museum and site entrance fees are set by the state, change annually, and are quoted separately unless your confirmation says otherwise.
4. What a tour includes
Each tour page lists inclusions and exclusions; your written confirmation is authoritative. Licensed guiding, private vehicle and driver, and the listed pickups are always included on private day tours.
5. Changes and cancellations
Private tours are flexible by design — routes and timings can change on the day by agreement, at no charge, wherever practical. For cancellations see our Cancellation Policy.
6. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for valid travel documents (see our visa guide), for arriving at agreed pickup points on time, and for judging your own fitness for walking tours over uneven ancient surfaces.
7. Liability
We operate with the licences and insurance required of a Turkish travel agency. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control — port closures, weather, traffic incidents, official site closures — though we will always do our best to rebuild the day around them.

9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye; the courts of Kuşadası / Aydın have jurisdiction.
